Special Queen 1 Cannabis Seeds: The Offspring of Power Bud and Skunk

In the '90s there was a mad dash from seed breeders and sellers to find that ultimate skunk. During this period, lots of growers tried to replicate that Mexican, Colombian, Afghan hybrid which resulted in a huge variety of new generation skunks. The genetic features of these cannabis plants would eventually lay the foundation for almost every marijuana plant in Europe.

At Royal Queen Seeds, we decided to bring you a classic Skunk hybrid at a lower price by crossing Skunk with Power Bud strain. Perfect for a first-time grower who doesn't want to invest too much in his experimental growing. This Special Queen is a classic skunk that grows with ease, doesn't stretch too much and can be harvested in 8-9 weeks.

Special Queen 1 Feminized Seeds: Buds, Buds Everywhere

Indoors it will grow to 1.5 m, so it will need a little more room. Outdoors this marijuana plant will grow to over 3 m. It needs lots of good sun but is also suitable for northern European climates like in the Netherlands or Great Britain. A sativa dominant, its buds are spread out all over the plant, providing an excellent yield for an 8-9 week sativa.

Indoors, Special Queen 1 seeds will produce plants that yield about 500g/m² under a 600W light. Sow your Special Queen 1 seeds outdoors, plants will grow big and strong and can yield over 550g per plant.  Care should be given to provide it with all the nutrients and water it will need to grow big and strong, while making sure not to give it too much.

Special Queen 1 Seeds: Low-Maintenance and Adaptable Plants

Special Queen 1 cannabis seeds are quick to germinate and develop into plants that are relatively easy to grow and require little maintenance. Perfect in both hydro and soil setups, Special Queen 1 seeds are well-suited for sea/screen of green operations. We recommend 8-9 weeks flowering for this Cannabis strain; however some growers have harvested as early as week 7.

Relax With the Special Queen 1 Strain!

The smoke from Special Queen 1 induces a classic Skunk stone. Mostly mental, Special Queen provides smokers with an uplifting high that will relax even the most anxious stoners.

Special Queen 1 seeds descend from the classic Skunk lineage and offer great yields for an advantageous price. You won't find another strain with these characteristics in our catalogue, or in any other catalogue!

    Title : Special Queen
Comment : My second and hope not the last grow. Putted seed into growing and wanna say that it's nice and steady. My mom growed it and hided. I found it and now I am smoking it. It's almost only leafs but how big yeld it was. Mixing it in the grinder and smoking. Love it, sometimes even effect's me too much. Only thing not to smoke too much. But what can I say, can't be without it. The aftermath is not heavy, so I recommend it to first growers, it's really the queen!

    Title : The best
Comment : First grow, outdoors. Grew four plants all of different breeds. The other three became monsters because I started them a bit early. The RQ1 plant grew to about 4ft, had huge super dense buds that you seriously could smell a 1/4 mile away when the wind was right. Nearly a pound was produced, very tasty and VERY stoney. I'm growing 4 of these when the time comes as well as some og kush and grape ape. Highly recommend these Royal Queen-Special Queen #1. Was looking for that old school taste and high and found it with these.

    Title : Very nice
Comment : This strain is absolutely the best. Easy to grow for beginner or expert. High yield outdoors with almost no work, always happy indoors. I grow this plant every year and am really happy. Strong effect, maybe too strong for everyday use

    Title : my first grow
Comment : I received this seed as a freebie on my first order and germinated it together with the autoflowers I ordered. After the autoflowers were finished with their bloom and ready for harvest, I set the light schedule to 12/12 in order to force the bloom of my SQ1. Needless to say, almost 4 months of vegetative growth led to my single SQ1 turning into an absolute monster plant and l had to bend it down to limit its height. It was still part of my first grow, so nothing was perfect on my part really. Considering the circumstances, the yield has turned out great. l am very pleased with the effects of the produce.

Could I grow this one without using fertilizers in soil which has perlite?

Royal Queen Seeds Team

Fertilizers are not really a must, you can grow any seed without them, however, they are use to obtain a bigger yield among other things.

When would be the perfect time in the year to let the seed germinate ? When it says, that the harvest-month is september and the flowering time is 7-8 weeks, does that mean, I should let the seeds germinate in July ?

Royal Queen Seeds Team

It would depend on your location. We normally recommend to start growing in the Early Spring, so the plant will have more time to grow before it goes into flowering time.

From George Papadakis | 2017-10-11 18:08:09

Hello, Is there a way I can grow this outside and keep the the height at 1.0 - 1.5 meters for stealth reasons. How much of a lesser yield will I get approx and will it still be potent? Thanks

Royal Queen Seeds Team

You will find a very complete answer to your question in the below entrance of our blog. https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-how-to-control-stretching-reigning-in-cannabis-growth-spurts-n487

From marcus | 2017-10-01 17:23:53

Is this one autoflowering?

Royal Queen Seeds Team

This is not an Autoflowering strain. It is Feminized.

From Mato | 2017-09-27 21:37:43

Does this strain have any resistance to mold?

Royal Queen Seeds Team

Not all cannabis strains have the same resistance to diseases and molds (botrytis, powdery mildew, etc.) This resistance depends on several factors (bud density, environmental conditions, etc.) and specially on the selection of the parents used to produce the seeds, since this resistance is often genetically transmitted to the offspring.
