Northern Light Auto Seeds: An American Strain Improved Over the Years

Soon after establishing itself in the Holland growing scene, Northern Lights cannabis seeds became the standard for indoor cannabis cultivation. Its influence spread worldwide as it went on to become one of the foundations of modern cannabis breeding. In recent years, different growing and breeding techniques have resulted in variants of the Northern Lights cannabis strain, with each harnessing the best attributes of this legend, while adding something unique to the equation. Royal Queen Seeds’ Northern Light Auto seeds are the perfect mix of new and old.

Being both autoflowering and feminized, Northern Light Auto seeds are versatile enough to suit discreet indoor grow ops or high-volume outdoor growers. After a brief vegetative phase, this strain begins producing an abundance of flowers, finishing its entire life cycle in 10–12 weeks after planting the seed.

Insane Yields From the Northern Light Auto Strain

The Northern Light Auto strain provides a generous harvest and might be one of the highest-yielding autoflowering seeds available today. Growing to a height of around 90–120cm, it is quite a large plant for an auto, which explains its yields of up to 200g/plant outdoors and a whopping 550g/m² indoors.

Much like the original Northern Lights, our Northern Light Auto strain offers a nice, sweet taste and a comfortable physical effect accompanied by cerebral stimulation. It’s the same classic strain, just with an autoflowering twist—which also makes it a great strain for medical users.

    Title : Very Nice Grow
Comment : This is in my top 3 of the best grows I have ever done. (Blue Cheese and Grandaddy Purple the others) I used red bag Promix, Growdots and recharge, that's it. Got a little over 3 oz of very good smoke and this plant was a true pleasure to grow, a lot of fun to watch it get bigger every day.

Title : First Grow Interesting Variability
Comment : My first grow! I'm so glad I went with RQS Northern Light Autoflower seeds. I grew two side-by-side, and it amazed me how they grew at different rates. They were both wonderful plants to grow, one staying more compact while still producing beautiful buds all over the place. I didn't train either of them because I like to let nature do its thing. The other plant grew larger and taller, with a bit of a stalkier appearance, so it could have used a little training. They are both still producing, though the smaller plant does appear to be a little ahead in terms of flowering. I'm excited to see how the flower turns out, as both plants are already starting to produce some beautiful buds.

Title : Impressive Survivor, Great High
Comment : Poor girl survived every mistake one could possibly make on a first grow, including terrible weather, insufficient light, wind, over-pruning. No nutes, either, just planted in living soil. I couldn't believe she survived and actually gave me something (though it wasn't much, of course). The flowering scent was a light, pine-citrus. The high is both uplifting and relaxing (great for those of us who are high-anxiety, especially post-election), the flavor delicious (also pine-citrus). I will definitely grow this strain again and be much much nicer to her.

    Title : North Lights Auto
Comment : So I grew 2 of these autos in a 4x4 under a 400w light and boy was I glad I only put in 2 plants...they got HUGE. both measured out around 4ft and bushy. They were completely different phenos, 1 was bushier with huge colas (90ish gs wet, still drying) other lankier with smaller buds. Smelled completely different, both great. Pulled around 5oz of dried flower off number 1, 2nd is still drying. One 1 cut at around 85ish days and other went over 100 days. Thwy were great plants, smell great and get me high for sure

Title : 100% Germination and Fast growing!
Comment : Planted 3 separate seeds- one was particularly delayed but went on to yield a solid 1.58 oz harvested 73 days after going in 5 gal pot, the next was harvested day 80 as it seems to have undergone some sort of stress/deficiency that caused longer, weaker limbs, and I failed to put up a trellis ahead of time to support it as I hadn't anticipated such length- yielded 4.33 oz. Last and most beautiful plant was harvested day 91/week 13 after going into pot- 5.16 dried oz of FROST BUD. Unfortunately for me; however, I failed to monitor the temperature and humidity level of my tent during this dry and the planted were CRUNCHY dry within 4-5 days- I only did the limb bend test and foolishly failed to realize that doesnt work when the environment isn't properly dialed in. Lesson learned. As for the smoke/effects: long-lasting high once cured..very smooth...makes me want to listen to music and make it ! Tends to put me to sleep if I'm even the tiniest bit already tired. Also GREAT for cycle pains ladies :)

    Title : My first Autoflower
Comment : Wow I was impressed by the color and the potency I got off my first RQ Northern Lights harvest. I still need to dial in my feeding schedule and flush period, but everyone who tried it said it was smooth and has a nice clear headed and relaxing effect. With the right lights and nutrients you can definitely push higher than the +-14% advertised, I got a little more than 1.5 oz off one small plant

    Title : First grow, indoor
Comment : My first grow, very little know-how and low budget equipment. Still, after about 13 weeks I got ca. 70g from that one plant. Very pleasant high. Not disappointed at all. Planting the next one in a few days.

Salve, volevo sapere se questa pianta sprigiona molto odore? Grazie

Royal Queen Seeds Team

It depends, if plants are healthy and happy their smell intensity is increasing as they get closer to the harvest time. However there are some techniques to camouflage the smell, check out the below link: https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-how-to-control-the-smell-of-cannabis-n224

From Paul | 2017-11-22 09:14:02

Under data sheet it says: Flowering: 5-7 weeks Does this mean that the flowering stage starts after week 5-7, or does it mean that the flowering stage takes 5-7 weeks?

Royal Queen Seeds Team

It means that the blooming period takes between 5 and 7 weeks.

It is very hard to provide you with an accurate answer. It is not only about light and space, it is also about feeding, watering, ventilation, etc...

From erik | 2017-10-17 19:39:27

hola buenas me gustaria saber si es posible sembrar una northen light en invierno con 10 horas de luz y enfrente del mar para hacer en outdoor

Royal Queen Seeds Team
