With expertise in chemistry, photobiology, and mineral nutrition, he is dedicated to sustainable high-tech agriculture. His focus is on optimising plant growth, enhancing crop quality, and exploring new possibilities for urban and extreme environments.
Miguel Ángel has been a pioneer in designing dynamic multispectral lamps, adapting light spectra to the growth phases of plants. His research on the impact of blue and UVA photons on plant photoreceptors increases concentrations of antioxidants, anthocyanins, and cannabinoids in crops. He has also advanced hydroponic techniques to improve calcium mobility and prevent issues such as tip burn.
Beyond traditional methods, Miguel Ángel explores innovative technologies like PAFT (Plant Acoustic Frequency Technology), based on the study of acoustic frequencies to stimulate plant growth and resilience.
