Since the founding of the company in 2011, DaVinci Tech has helped to spearhead vaporizer innovation. Inspired by the genius of polymath Leonardo da Vinci, the company specialises in portable vapes designed to make puffing on the go easier than ever before. While simple, their devices still maintain a long list of impressive features that make them futuristic, user-friendly, and unique in a highly competitive market.
The DaVinci IQC vaporizer stands out as one of their superior products. This device boasts efficient charging, an aesthetic LED interface, a quick heat-up time, and materials that make each hit smooth, refreshing, and pure. It’s the perfect digital companion for users that want something easy to hit at home, or for adventurous vape lovers who want a device compatible with hiking trails, ski slopes, and beach breaks between surfing bouts.
Compared to older DaVinci models, such as the IQ2, the IQC has improved upon some features, while trimming down on others to make it less clunky.

What Is the DaVinci IQC Vaporizer?
The DaVinci IQC stands as a new and improved version of the original IQ. It shares certain features with the IQ2, but lacks some of the qualities held by this more expensive version. The IQC occupies the middle-ground for vape users seeking something flashy and functional without paying a premium.
The vape also appeals to users that have an equal love for herb and concentrates. You can load bud directly into the oven, or vape concentrates using dosage pods and the DaVinci extract kit. This futuristic device can handle up to 0.5g of bud in the heating chamber at once—more than enough to elevate you immediately, especially if you have a penchant for potent strains.
Above all else, the DaVinci IQC draws in users that love hitting buds or concentrates on the road, whether on the walk to work or while travelling recreationally. Its small size, quick-to-charge battery, and compatibility with DaVinci dosage pods makes it effortless to use as you please, no matter the location.

DaVinci IQC Vaporizer Build Quality
The DaVinci IQC boasts a futuristic and sleek appearance. It looks like something that dropped straight out of the Star Wars universe; something a Jedi Knight would puff on between training sessions. Looks aside, it also feels smooth to the touch, thanks to the sandblasted aluminium body.
Speaking of materials, the device also features a glass-lined ceramic heating oven and a sealed zirconia/glass vapor path—these components mean you don’t have to worry about breathing in impurities every time you take a hit. Overall, the DaVinci IQC feels far from cheap; the hinges for the battery, mouthpiece, and oven glide wonderfully and feel like they could take a beating.

How to Use the DaVinci IQC Vaporizer
The DaVinci IQC smashes it out of the park with an oven that holds 0.5g of herb, which outperforms the 0.25g capacity of most dry herb devices. To load it up, first grind your bud into a coarse powder. Next, pack your bud into the device. Load it fully, but don’t compact it down; leaving air gaps between particles of weed will allow heat to move through the material easily. If you choose not to fill the chamber entirely, slightly unscrew the zirconia pearl that sits on the bottom latch to fill up the remaining space.
Once successfully loaded, turn the vape on by pressing the power button five times. Next, use the up and down buttons to select one of four preset smart heating profiles shown on the LED display—the more blocks that light up, the higher the temperature. If you want more accuracy, hit the power button again for precision heating. This prompts the LED display to show the temperature in numbers, which you can control within 1 degree using the up and down buttons.
Your vape will vibrate once it heats to the desired temp, indicating that it’s time to take a hit. The mouthpiece offers a unique experience. Instead of a protruding tube, it’s a concave indentation that features six small holes for the vapor to travel through. It might look weird at first, but it feels very comfortable against the lips. However, you have the option of using a straw-style mouthpiece if you choose. This piece of kit also allows you to use your vape alongside any rig that takes a 10mm adapter.
Don’t want to draw any attention? You can dim the LEDs by activating stealth mode. Simply press the power button and the down arrow at the same time.
-
Portability
The DaVinci IQC features a width of 4.3cm, a height of 9.2cm, and a depth of 2.5cm. These dimensions make the device a perfect pal for your pockets. You can slide this vape into trouser pockets, into small compartments in your backpack or purse, and even carry it for long distances with no effort involved. On top of this, the device only weighs 160g, so you don’t need to worry about adding much extra weight to your setup.
-
Maintenance
Just like any vape, the DaVinci IQC requires maintenance. Keeping your vape squeaky clean means you get to savour the terpenes in every hit without the taste of muck and grime. To start, remove any debris from the chamber immediately after use to prevent any buildup.
Once in a while, you’ll need to conduct a deep clean to keep your vape in shape and extend its lifespan. Place all of the removable parts into a 70% solution of isopropyl alcohol. These parts include the inside of the mouthpiece, flavour chamber pathway, and pearl. Let them soak overnight, and thoroughly rinse them in the morning.
Then, use a Q-tip dipped in the same solution to give the heating chamber and non-removable components of the mouthpiece a clean. Next, wipe them down with a paper towel, place the vape upside down, and let it dry completely before using again (the isopropyl will evaporate fairly quickly).
-
Battery Life and Charging
The device uses a replaceable 3000mAh 18650 battery. You can charge the battery while it sits in the device using a USB-C cable; expect it to reach full charge after only two hours. Once fully juiced, the battery lasts an average of 1 hour (enough to get through around six bowls for the average user). If you’re one that likes to head out to the hills, consider purchasing a couple of spare batteries and make sure they’re fully charged before stepping out the door.
DaVinci IQC Vaporizer Performance
Now that you’re aware of the foundational traits of the DaVinci IQC, let’s delve a little deeper into some of its cool features. Below, we’ll cover temperature settings, vape quality, and how it compares to the IQ2.
-
Temperature Settings
The IQC features a conduction heating system. Using the temperature controls mentioned above, users can select their desired temperature within 1-degree increments (0–221°), allowing them to target specific terpenes and cannabinoids with different boiling points. Users can also toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit by pressing all three buttons at the same time.
Boost mode helps to avoid clicking around and enables the vape to quickly heat up to the maximum temperature. To activate it, simply hold down the power button during a session (the LED display will show upward-moving arrows).
-
Vape Quality
The vape pathway within the IQC produces pure, potent, and cool vapor with no nasty chemicals. Every hit passes through the throat and into the lungs with minimal irritation. Opting for lower temperatures also brings out the terpene profile within every strain, allowing you to gain a true appreciation for the phytochemicals you’re inhaling.

DaVinci IQC vs IQ2 Vaporizer
So, how does the DaVinci IQC compare with the IQ2 model? Check out the major differences below:
- Body: Compared to the IQ2’s brushed aluminium, the IQC features a sandblasted aluminium body that looks and feels nicer to many users.
- Lid: Whereas the IQ2 has an aluminium lid, the IQC features a heat-resistant antimicrobial polymer lid.
- Mouthpiece: The silicone mouthpiece feels smoother and more pleasant than the zirconia lid on the IQ2.
- Airflow dial: The IQC doesn’t possess the airflow dial that made the IQ2 more clunky and less aesthetically pleasing.
- Charging: Whereas the IQ2 takes six hours to reach full charge via USB, the IQC takes two hours via USB-C.
- Hinges and magnet: The IQC features improved and smoother hinges, and a bigger and stronger magnet in the top latch.
- Dose tracking: The IQC app lacks the dose tracking offered by the IQ2, a handy feature that allows users to monitor their cannabinoid intake.
Who Should Buy the DaVinci IQC Vaporizer?
The DaVinci IQC vaporizer appeals to a wide range of cannabis users. It offers the perfect replacement for smoking joints and hitting pipes on the road. The vapor tastes much better than smoke, and offers smoother hits.
But the IQC also outperforms many handheld vapes out there. The sleek LED display, precision temperature options, zirconia/glass pathway, large oven, and compatible app give it a long list of incredible qualities for a vape that fits into your pocket. Ultimately, if you love vaping on the go, the IQC balances portability with technology, making it the perfect companion for the road and the home.
