As one of the original cuttings of the Girl Scouts Cookies weed strain, this clone mirrors all of the attractive features of the original mother plant. Girl Scout Cookies itself descends from legendary parent strains OG Kush and F1 Durban, which passed down an indica-dominant genetic profile, a THC content of 25%, a happy high, and delicious tastes of mint and sweetness. As a direct relative, Royal Cookies inherits all of these characteristics. Overall, she features a genetic profile of 20% sativa genetics and 80% indica.
Royal Cookies Characteristics
The Royal Cookies marijuana strain grows to varying heights based on environmental conditions. Plants display a typical indica morphology, with thick and sturdy stems and broad fan leaves with wide leaflets. Indoors, plants grow to 110 cm in height without intervention. However, apply some LST and topping, and you’ll keep them as stout as compact as 80 cm. Untrained outdoor plants grow to a much larger size of 180 cm when grown in large containers or directly in the ground, whereas those subject to training will peak at 140 cm. Royal Cookies produces small and dense colas all along her stout branches. Expect to harvest up to 525 g/m² from indoor plants after a flowering phase of 8–9 weeks. Germinating Royal Cookies Cannabis Seeds
It comes as no surprise that this expertly crafted strain boasts superb germination rates. Start out by soaking your seeds in a glass of water for 12 hours to speed up the process. Then, transfer your seeds directly into their final pots to avoid transplant stress further down the line. Use an 11-litre pot if you intend to keep your plants compact, or a 20-litre pot to unleash their genetic potential. Maintain a temperature of around 25°C and a relative humidity of 70–80% during germination and the seedling stage to accelerate growth. Expect your baby plant to stand at a height of 4–5 cm by the end of the first week of the growing cycle.

Vegetative Phase
Royal Cookies quickly puts on mass during the early stages of veg. Maintain a light cycle of at least 18 hours on and 6 hours off to propel growth in the right direction. By the end of week two, your plants will have achieved a height of around 10 cm. When week three swings around, start thinking about how you want your plants to look. If you’re chasing compact specimens, apply both LST and topping at this stage to shape a flatter canopy and shorter plants. If you want taller specimens, leave them untrained, but apply ample defoliation to keep the canopy open and aerated. You can move your containers outdoors into a sunny spot at this stage if you want to finish them off in your garden. By the end of veg, your plants will stand at 60–140 cm, depending on the training techniques used and the pot size.

Flowering Phase & Harvest Time
Your Royal Cookies plants will start to stretch during bloom, with trained plants peaking at 80 cm and untrained specimens in large pots topping out at 180 cm. Provide high levels of potassium and phosphorus to drive flower development, and keep up with routine defoliation to boost aeration in the canopy and reduce the risk of mould. As your plants move into the second half of the flowering phase, you’ll start to notice the buds shift from white to orange. Using a magnification device, you’ll also see the trichomes transition from translucent to milky and opaque.
Flush your full-grown Royal Cookies plants during the final two weeks of bloom by withholding all nutrients and administering only water. This will force them to use up their nutrient stores, potentially resulting in smoother and more flavourful buds when it comes time to blaze up. To harvest your buds, simply chop each plant at the base just above the soil. Hang them upside down in a grow room with the lights off and the fan running until the stems become cracker dry. Next, dry-trim your flowers and place them into curing jars for around six weeks to ensure the smoothest and tastiest smoke possible.
