Cookies Gelato
When it comes to French weed, Cookies Gelato reigns supreme. Cannabis lovers in the country have developed a particular affinity for this cultivar thanks to her insanely sweet flavours and easy-to-grow nature. Sow seeds into plugs or cell trays and you’ll have a 5cm-tall seedling on your hands within a week. Allow your seedling to mature for another week indoors or in a greenhouse and then transplant outdoors into a sunny yet sheltered location. Over the next three weeks, your Cookies Gelato plant will develop a bushy canopy and broad and waxy fan leaves. You’ll experience the fastest growth at temperatures of 25°C.
During bloom, Cookies Gelato stretches to a height of 180cm if left untrained. What start out as tiny pre-flowers quickly develop into thick purple-green buds over the course of 8–9 weeks of flowering. Get your gear ready to harvest 600–650g/plant around the middle of October.
As the progeny of Girl Scout Cookies and Gelato 33, Cookies Gelato features a colossal THC content of 28%. Tread with caution, and brace yourself for a deeply soothing and stoning high paired with flavours of citrus, earth, fruit, and mint.

Critical
Critical has gained traction as a popular outdoor French strain because of her ability to thrive in climates across the country. Plants perform well in the cooler north as well as the south. Start seeds indoors and watch them grow up to 10cm by the end of the first week of veg when placed under a strong lamp. Transplant outdoors into a south-facing position and watch your plants develop a bushy figure and a thick and stout main stem. Dense branching calls for regular defoliation during late veg. Temperatures higher than 25°C and a humidity of around 60% stimulate optimal growth during this time.
Critical plants develop a large and impressive central cola that crowns the canopy and peaks at 220cm when plants have enough room to fully spread their roots. Keep an eye out for pests and diseases, and ensure plants in hot regions receive ample irrigation to meet the demand of this quick-growing strain. The flowering phase lasts around 7–9 weeks, and buds begin to take on a purple appearance during the final weeks as anthocyanin levels rise. Expect a yield of 600–650g/plant ready to harvest in late September.
Critical derives from parent strains Afghan and Skunk. The strain pairs a THC content of 18% with sweet and earthy terpenes to deliver a physically stoning high perfect for the evening hours.

Amnesia Haze
Amnesia Haze is a classic weed strain, having earned a legendary status decades ago. However, many contemporary growers still choose to cultivate this specimen, and it remains one of the most popular cultivars in France. Start seeds indoors in cell trays and transplant after the first true leaves grow beyond the circumference of the cell. This cultivar will thrive outdoors in a sunny spot in the oceanic climates of northwestern France and the Mediterranean zones in the south. If you’re living in mountainous regions such as Grenoble, a polytunnel or greenhouse will come in really handy both early and late in the growing season. Go heavy on the nitrogen during veg and keep on top of defoliation to prevent large fan leaves from depriving the inner canopy of light and air. By the end of veg, your plant will stand at around 60–100cm as pre-flowers start to emerge.
Your plant will stretch throughout early bloom, topping out at a height of 210cm if space allows. As the weeks go by, you’ll notice her brilliant white pistils become increasingly amber as a dense layer of trichomes starts to manifest. Trigger a flush three weeks before harvest to improve overall flavour and prepare to pull in up to 650g/plant during late September.
Bred directly from Original Amnesia Haze, this sativa-dominant hybrid is a smoker's dream. A THC content of 22% ensures a long-lasting psychoactive experience while flavours of citrus and pepper make every hit a delight.

Titan F1
The first true cannabis F1 hybrids took the industry by storm and presented a whole new category of genetics to marijuana growers in France. Durable and highly resistant to pests, diseases, and adverse weather, Titan F1 will grow well outdoors anywhere in the country. Sow seeds directly into 11l pots outdoors as soon as the risk of frost has passed. Water well and keep covered with a belle cloche until sprouts emerge. In a sunny spot, your seedling will surge to 10cm by the end of the second week of veg, equipped with several sets of true leaves. Expect another few centimetres of growth before your plant starts churning out pre-flowers at the end of the following week, marking a rapid transition into bloom.
By the sixth week of the growing cycle, your plant will stand at the stealthy height of 40cm. Despite this compact structure, the abundance of semi-mature buds throughout the canopy shows it is possible to achieve big yields from tiny plants. You’ll notice a strong smell start to permeate the air at around week nine. Trigger a flush at this time and watch your plants develop a yellow/purple hue as harvest approaches. Prepare to start harvesting 70–75 days after sprouts appear.
Titan F1 boasts boatloads of THC and lands a heavy body high alongside mental stimulation. Terpenes including myrcene and farnesene offer flavours of vanilla, pine, diesel, and candy.

Green Gelato
Green Gelato has become one of the top French weed strains because of her large yields, superb flavour profile, and gorgeous purple complexion. These seeds don’t mess around, and emerge from the soil not long after sowing. Start them in cell trays and transplant them directly into raised beds or large containers outdoors for maximum root space. Apply liquid seaweed, fish emulsion, or other organic fertilisers and watch your specimens peak at 20cm by the end of week three. This strain thrives at a temperature of 25°C and a humidity of 50% during veg, making greenhouse cultivation a good option for those growing at higher elevations.
Plants will peak at up to 200cm in height during early bloom. Keep on top of canopy management by cutting away older fan leaves to prevent things from growing out of control. You’ll notice the buds start to get considerably thicker during week three of bloom. During the final two weeks of flowering, your buds will take on an eye-catching purple appearance. Reach for your trimming scissors and harvest up to 800g/plant in early October.
With a THC content of 27%, Green Gelato ranks as one of our most potent cultivars. Take things low and slow and enjoy a clear-headed body with high and complex tastes of mint, vanilla, and citrus.
