Medusa F1: Mouthwatering Aromas, High Potency, and Mid-Size Plants

Video id: 910818925

Though she won't turn you to stone like the mythical goddess after which she's named, Medusa F1 is bound to get you plenty stoned in her own special way. Combining genetics from inbred lines deriving from Sugar Magnolia, a thick and sweet indica, and American Beauty, a fast, fruity hybrid loved for its well-balanced, positive high, the result is an autoflowering F1 variety that produces fresh flavours, a unique cannabinoid profile, and large yields.

Medusa F1

Aromas, Flavours, and Effects of Medusa F1: Mint, Pepper, and Fresh Fruit With a Balanced Cannabinoid Profile

Medusa F1 is a very aromatic cultivar with a vibrant concentration of terpenes bearing notes of fresh mint alongside an upfront peppery kick, backed up by hints of fresh fruit, berries, and tangy fuel. Her thick, frosty flowers consistently produce high levels of THC and CBG, as well as high concentrations of myrcene, ocimene, farnesene, and caryophyllene. As a result, Medusa F1 has strong effects that relax and stone the body from head to toe (brought on by particularly high concentrations of myrcene and farnesene) while motivating the mind with an uplifting, creative, and motivating kick (thanks to high concentrations of ocimene).

Medusa F1

Growing Medusa F1: Tall Yet Manageable Plants With Heavy, Easy-to-Trim Flowers

Medusa F1 seeds produce elongated autoflowering plants with long, strong branches and well-spaced internodes. Plants regularly grow up to 80–85cm tall and boast a fast flowering time of just 42–45 days (72 days from germination to harvest). Thanks to her genetics, Medusa F1 produces plenty of thick flowers with big, swollen calyxes that make for very easy trimming. Medusa F1 is very stable, handling stress and unfavourable growing conditions with ease, though she is somewhat susceptible to Botrytis, so make sure to keep tabs on the humidity in your grow room/garden.

Title : 12oz off two stunted autos
Comment : 4x4 hydro setup, topped them for science and threw them into flower by accident. Also cut a little early because two photoperiod plants in the tent were getting too big and needed room. Overall very happy with 12oz of fire, smells like gassy skittles. Pressed 112g into approx 18g-20g rosin. Not bad for planted Sept 9th cut Dec 27

    Title : Strong and long!
Comment : A great plant to grow: short, healthy even when mistakes are made, and a decent yield. I did find I had to wait longer than expected for the trichs to turn milky - and they never really got more than slightly amber on a few - but it was worth the weight. Dense calyces, though the dried buds are quite light and fluffy, with a pleasant, sweet smell. I topped the main stem, and I used gentle LST, and that seemed to work well. Topping didn't seem to check it. It stayed low and compact, and produced many excellent bud sites. I had my first go at it last night after only 10 days of curing, so far, using the trusty Vaporisator (on three petals, for Pax users). I was surprised it was such a smooth vape - no coughing and no throat-rip (which happens a lot usually to my Poor antique throat). And a high that came on quickly and built and built. And lasted for ages! Two hours later and I was still happy and stoned. It's the most intense high I've ever had, in fact. Definitely be growing again, though I also yearn to get some Orion seeds going, based on great reviews I've read. I'd highly recommend this strain. Especially if, like me, you don't have much space. Do feed it more heavily than your instincts/experience might suggest less than you would w autos. And do be prepared to give it an extra week or two. It's worth it.

Title : Easy to grow. Hard-hitting high.
Comment : I grew some indoors, some outdoors. Some with synthetics, some in living soil. A resilient strain and consistent phenotype. I had hoped for a racier high, given that it is sativa dominate, but instead I found it to be much better for watching TV than for doing chores. I would expect medical users to find it useful.

    Title : great strain
Comment : Used 3 seeds and were over after 2 months with an average of 45-55g dry/plant. The smoke is just amazing, had 3 Milky Way plants in the same time. Awesome to smoke and very strong strain compared to others.

Comment : top notch 3 plants looks identical

    By D. J. on 18/Dec/2023 :

    Title : Medusa
Comment : Pheno may vary growing this beast, I grew 3, 2 identical 1 more similar to the Orion I did prior. heavy sticky fat buds, the Orion lookalike finished a week or so earlier than the other 2. Low maintenance, top them bend them / open them out a little, no need to defoliate much as they're thinly leafed anyway easy mode over 2oz a plant in 15l soil maybe 60 days

    Title : F1 Medusa
Comment : I have never really had much confidence in Auto’s before. I thought these new F1s may be worth a try. Now on week 6 and I can see it was a good decision. All five took about 72 hours to germinate. After a few days they really get faster and faster. Now still with 3 weeks? more to go and they look and smell fantastic. Trichomes already coming on strong. I gave some LST first tying down main growth the more to keep the structure open. Well worth it. I am going to order more and try some of the other F1s.

Is this the more productive in the F1 selection? How many grams can produce outdoor in a 15 litres air vase?

Royal Queen Seeds Team

Flower yield depends strongly on the growing conditions and plant density. However, due to hybrid vigor, F1 hybrid varieties show more flower yield compared to the traditional strains.
