Fat Banana Has Fruity Roots in Banana and OG Kush Cannabis Seeds

Fat Banana seeds are the result of an intense selective breeding project here at RQS, with the aim to produce and hone a strain rarely seen in the cannabis community. The result is a strain with some uncommon features, likely appeal to connoisseurs, collectors, and growers alike – especially for those looking for a unique stash.

Fat Banana is a prime Kush strain with a genetic background tracing back to OG Kush x Chiquita Banana. It is a heritage with a lot of power behind it, creating a foundation for Fat Banana’s greatness. This can be seen in the potency of Fat Banana’s bud, which can reach up to 25%+ THC when grown with an expert hand. The potential here is great!

Fat Banana Feminized Cannabis Seeds: Yield and Growing Characteristics

Fat Banana can yield an average of 350-400 g/m² under a 600w light, and flowers in around 8-10 weeks indoors. Despite the Fat Banana strain being an indica-dominant hybrid, it could be classed as something of a “stretch indica” given its propensity to develop an enormous main cola if left untrained.

Outdoors in warmer climates, Fat Banana cannabis seeds can turn into monster bushes that will most likely require support. They will be ready for the chop by mid-September. As mentioned, if you treat these seeds right, the prize is a fat stash of chunky nuggets with 25%+ THC and a sweet, fruity banana aroma.

Effects and Flavour

Fat Banana is the Kush nobody saw coming. Mild initial euphoric effects and a mouth-watering sweet fruity flavour could fool you into overdoing it with this unusual strain. However, it is potent! A powerful physical stoned sensation will begin to creep up and take hold sooner or later, followed by an unimaginably relaxing experience. Prepare for the munchies - this is a trip to flavour country that begins and ends on the couch.

When it comes to flavour, the Fat Banana strain has a sweet taste featuring hints of citrus. As mentioned, the aroma the bud produces is reminiscent of its namesake, making it a treat for the nostrils.

Title : The name is fun!
Comment : Along with being a great plant, the name can be fun to play with. Hey Michelle, whatcha doin? Smoking the fat banana. LOL You can play with this name so many ways.... perfect for the pervy minds. HAHAHAHA. This was part of my 2dn grow. I was super impressed. It was good right from harvest and even better cured. A bit smaller than the other plant growing next to it but I still yielded 4oz from her. The flavor is fruity and very tasty. I have made this part of my 3rd grow to see if I can get it a little bigger this time. The seed sprouted late so I think she was always a little behind. This grow she came up on time with the others and so far all are growing at the same rate. The effect of this is strong for the novice. For me it hits the spot. The high is consistent and lasting and at times can make me a little lazy. I am a daily smoker so I need a very strong strain to get any real benefit. This strain is easy to grow. Just soil and basic nutrients and I had a great looking healthy plant with a great yield. I am sure I can do better on the yield once I master trimming.

    Title : dobre zioło
Comment : Urosły spore krzaczki, choć plon nie był tak wielki jak w tabelce. Smak/zapach mimo iż nie do końca przypomina banany całkiem ok, nieźle kręci. Ogólnie na plus.

    Title : 2 times cultivated
Comment : Bad germination... 2/3 first time, 1/2 2nd time. BUT... huge BUT there. But, it's easy to grow, happy plant, medium size with the yields described to be realistic. Seriously how many can get 650-700g/m2 which is labeled on other strains? Beginner with mistakes all over and i got 50-55g/plant. which takes 40*40 space in a 1.2m*1.2m tent. 1 and a half month from seed to flower day 1. It's attracting pests but it's a resilient plant. No probs to high or low temps, no probs to bad feeding (overnut and down) or schedule (over/under water), trained well, topped 3 times to all her buds at this last grow and got scroged at some point. She kept raising the middle finger and continued grow. Thick buds, heavy weight, no more than 5 seeds found at total 2 cultivars. Strong and quality skunk. Can't wait for autumn to start a grow with 10 of these to choose a pheno for clones.
