Epsilon F1 Hybrid Information
Epsilon F1 emerged as one of the first F1 hybrid cannabis varieties, with the breeders at RQS being responsible for this innovative breakthrough in the cannabis industry. The result of an intensive breeding project involving the crossing of several highly pure inbred lines, Epsilon F1 plants possess hybrid vigour—a trait that results in unmatched uniformity among plants, heavier harvests, improved resistance to diseases and pests, and superior potency and flavour.
We started out with parent strains Blue Dream, Blueberry, Amnesia Lemon Haze, and Black Domina as a genetic base. From here, we refined each parent over generations to create highly homogeneous inbred lines with very low genetic variability. After conducting a complex four-way cross, we created a progeny with invigorated genetics, exceptionally low genetic variability on par with that of clones, and incredible consistency when it comes to productivity, potency, aroma, and speed of growth.
Epsilon F1 Characteristics
Epsilon F1 is an autoflower variety, meaning it will initiate blooming 2–4 weeks after germination, making it ideal for both beginner and experienced growers. First and foremost, her incredible uniformity guarantees consistent results; your seeds will all germinate into plants of an identical size and shape. Her compact and stout stature also makes Epsilon F1 ideal for growers looking to remain as stealthy as possible, as well as those with limited indoor and outdoor cultivation spaces.
A maximum height of just 50–70 cm means Epsilon F1 plants will happily thrive in small grow tents and even converted cupboards. Moreover, this F1 hybrid will speed through the growing cycle in just 60 days after sprouting, providing huge yields of frosty colas and high concentrations of THC come harvest time.

Epsilon F1 Flavour and Aroma
Epsilon F1 hybrid flowers contain a complex cocktail of phytochemicals, including an assortment of common and less-common terpenes. High concentrations of caryophyllene, pinene, and myrcene serve up strong flavours of pine, pepper, fruit, and musk, while large quantities of farnesene contribute pleasant notes of sweetness, cedarwood, and green apple. But it doesn’t end there. Certain esters bestow further fruity flavours, and volatile sulphur compounds add hints of skunk and gas. Overall, you’ll enjoy delicious tastes of blueberry, citrus, herbs, lavender, and lime with each inhalation.

Epsilon F1 Hybrid Effects
The effects of Epsilon F1 fall on the stoning side of the spectrum. Sky-high concentrations of THC and a complex array of terpenes synergise to plunge the body into a relaxed state. Within moments of taking that initial hit, you’ll feel your limbs become heavy while waves of bliss and tranquillity begin to lap against the shore of your mind.
But these effects aren’t solely down to THC. Epsilon F1’s entire chemical profile—cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and other compounds—come together to steer her high into a unique and stoning direction. The effects will peak at around 30–60 minutes and, unless you choose to smoke up again, will transition into a warm and cosy afterglow.
Growing Epsilon F1 Hybrid
Owing to her hybrid vigour, Epsilon F1 plants provide a straightforward, predictable, and enjoyable cultivation experience. Whether you germinate one seed or ten, you’re guaranteed to be met with uniform specimens. While you’ll have no problem growing this autoflower variety, the information below will fill you in on what to expect during every step of the experience.
-
Germinating Epsilon F1 Cannabis Seeds
Epsilon F1 hybrid cannabis seeds feature an exceptional germination rate and don’t require any special intervention to help them along. Simply sow them directly into 11 l pots, where they’ll stay for the rest of the growing cycle. This method has two advantages: it saves you time and effort, and it mitigates the threat of transplant stress down the line. Try to maintain a warm temperature of around 25°C and keep the soil moist, and you’ll notice sprouts emerge from the soil a couple of days after sowing seeds. Turn your grow lights on for 24 hours per day at this point to encourage healthy growth and prevent leggy stems.
-
Vegetative Phase
You can expect your Epsilon F1 hybrid plants to quickly pack on leafy growth during the vegetative phase. Maintain a temperature of around 28°C and humidity of 55%, and keep your lights running for 24 hours per day. Under these conditions, your plants will grow to around 8 cm by the end of the first week of veg, having developed several sets of turgid, dark green fan leaves.
Your specimens will continue to grow rapidly during week two of veg, with their canopies becoming increasingly leafy and dense. Take some time here to defoliate, trimming excess leaves to allow light and air to penetrate deeper into the canopy. If you want to keep your Epsilon F1 plants as compact as possible, consider applying LST or other training techniques to limit their size while improving yields. If you plan to finish your plants outdoors, move your pots into a sunny position at the end of this week.
Your Epsilon F1 hybrid cannabis plants will start transitioning into flowering during week three of the vegetative phase. You’ll notice small white pre-flowers start to form at the nodes, and your plants will stand at 40–60 cm.
-
Flowering Phase and Harvest
As the flowering stage progresses, you’ll notice a sweet and earthy smell start to permeate the air. Switch over to a fertiliser higher in potassium and phosphorus and lower in nitrogen to assist flower development, and utilise a light cycle of 18 hours on and six hours off indoors to save on energy. Also, reduce humidity to around 40–45% to avoid excess moisture accumulating in your canopies. Expect your plants to stretch up to their final height of 50–70 cm during bloom as flowering hormone levels rise. Make sure you have enough stash jars ready to harvest large yields just 30–40 days after your plants transition into flowering.
To harvest, start by cutting each of them at the base just above the growing medium. From here, hang each plant upside down in a cool, dark, and well-aerated place, such as a shed or grow tent. You’ll know they’re dry and ready for further processing when the stems break when applying force to them; this typically takes 7–10 days. Dry-trim your flowers before transferring them into curing jars for 6–8 weeks to improve their flavour and smoothness.
