What a year 2024 has been so far! Straight out of the gate, we launched ten new strains, including Cherry Pie, Grape Ape Auto, and Pink Runtz Auto. Each pays homage to & the stellar reputation of US genetics, giving growers access to the same intense flavors and fantastic yields our friends across the pond are accustomed to. However, those new additions were just the beginning, as several months later, we announced our exclusive partnership with Tyson 2.0.
Founded by arguably one of the greatest boxers ever, Tyson 2.0 is Mike Tyson's message to the world. His love for cannabis has helped him through thick and thin, and now, RQS is collaborating with the heavyweight champion to create a new line of champion genetics. Perfect for growing at home, the range includes six one-of-a-kind strains, including Dynamite Diesel, GOAT'lato Auto, and Punch Pie.
Most seed banks would be content with the developments listed above, but at RQS, we like to keep pushing the envelope—all in the name of growing higher. So, we've gone and developed thirteen more new strains, hot off the presses for July. Get acquainted with them below!
1. Tangie
Leading the charge is the offspring of California Orange and Skunk #1, the incredibly flavorsome and fruity Tangie. It takes little time for Tangie seedlings to emerge, whether you germinate with a starter kit or directly in their final pots. Plants may appear slow-going during the vegetative stage, but maintain a steady approach, as this strain is the epitome of “good things come to those who wait”.
Plants naturally become wide and compact (rarely reaching more than 120 cm). Still, with plenty of pruning, flowering will eventually reward growers with up to 550 g/m² indoors and 700 g/plant outdoors. Of course, with 20% THC and uplifting effects, the longer flowering period will be worth the wait!

2. Strawberry Cough
Despite its name, this strain goes down smoother with every hit. Strawberry Cough is the progeny of Strawberry Fields and Haze, and as you might have already guessed, she boasts flavors of candy and fruit alongside a soothing and motivating high. That said, to experience her effects, you need to get growing first!
Again, germination is a cinch, and plants will waste no time reaching towards your grow light. In fact, the vegetative phase is a hive of activity, with indoor cultivars reaching up to 150 cm while outdoor specimens can exceed 2 m! Don't worry, though, wrestling with this sativa-dominant behemoth will reward you up to 500 g/m² indoors and a whopping 650 g/plant outside.

3. Larry OG
Equally balanced, Larry OG is a 50/50 hybrid with a need for speed. She only needs 8–10 weeks to finish flowering, making her a speedy photoperiod plant that doesn't sacrifice yield, potency, or flavor to get the job done. However, beginner growers should keep a close eye on seedlings, as it won't take long for those first few branches to start reaching outwards.
Vegging plants maintain a wide, compact structure, but without low-stress training or ScrOG, bud sites might not get the light exposure they need. As plants enter flowering, keeping this offspring of OG Kush and SFV OG Kush well-controlled will pay dividends come harvest. Fresh, earthy flavors, a physically relaxing high, and up to 22% THC await.

4. Alien OG
If you love compact plants that flower quickly, then Alien OG is the girl for you. In fact, she's well-suited to climates with short summers or indoor growers tight on time. With Alien Kush and Tahoe OG Kush genetics running through its veins, you can expect a straightforward experience and a physically relaxing influence.
Seedlings will happily sprout in RQS soil plugs, stone wool blocks, or even a glass of water. Resistant and robust, Alien OG plants progress through the veg stage with little maintenance, entering the flowering phase with a spring in their step and an abundance of pine and citrus aromas. A final flush before harvesting ensures peak THC levels (up to 25%) and flavors that mimic her scent.

5. Tropicana Cookies Purple
Both parents of Tropicana Cookies Purple are legends of the US cannabis scene, and we're pleased to report that their offspring follows suit. Despite leaning slightly towards her sativa heritage, she still flowers quickly, promising large yields after 8–10 weeks indoors or in early October for outdoor cultivators. Fortunately, that fast turnaround time doesn't compromise potency (up to 22% THC) or flavor.
The vegging period remains simple, as this strain likes to stay tight and compact, favouring lateral growth over vertical. However, when plants enter flowering, it helps to add a Bio-Flowering Booster to your feeding regime. Not only does this help to accentuate the candy and blueberry flavors, but it maximises the plant's output.

6. Pink Mist
Feel a mist of uplifting euphoria and sweet blueberry and candy flavors wash over you as you take Pink Mist to harvest after 9–10 weeks of flowering. This intensely sweet sativa-dominant strain is ideal for growers who like to take their time, fine-tuning their feeding regime and pushing yield potential and potency (20% THC) to the limit.
Thanks to the influence of Purple Thai and Black Haze, outdoor plants grow loud and proud, reaching nearly two metres tall in ideal conditions. Indoors, plants reach half that height, but there's a sudden surge during the transition to flowering that you'll need to be ready for. Don't worry, though; some simple LST will quickly get plants back under control.

7. Lemon Skunk
Bursting with citrusy dominance, Lemon Skunk is the perfect blend of old-school funk and sugary terps. And it's not just the flavors that are delicately balanced either, as this 50/50 hybrid is equal parts Skunk #1 and Citral. That sense of balance continues throughout germination, the vegetative phase, and flowering, as plants stay tight and compact, even without training.
However, if you want to push plants to their limit, consider some Easy Grow Booster Tablets during the vegetative stage, and you can expect specimens to reach roughly 120 cm indoors and 150 cm outside. Flowering will fly by in 8–9 weeks, after which you'll have a bucket load of frosty buds bursting with that iconic citrus, fruit, lime, and skunk flavor.

8. Forbidden Fruit
Don't worry—you don't need permission to grow Forbidden Fruit. You just need a climate with short summers or a spare 8–10 weeks for indoor plants to finish flowering. The strain's indica heritage rings true, with a high that's both physically relaxing and mentally soothing—ideal for those quiet introspective evenings.
It's during those quiet moments that you can reflect on the growing experience. Beginners will have no problems germinating using an RQS Geotextile Fabric Pot and some Cannabis Seed Booster, while the vegetative phase benefits greatly from Bio-Grow Fertiliser. However, don't rush drying and curing, as this is when the strain’s potency (24% THC) and earthy, fruity flavors come to the fore.

9. Pink Gorilla
A force to be reckoned with, Pink Gorilla is the indica-dominant offspring of Gorilla Glue #4 and Pink 2.0. Thanks to the masterful breeders at RQS, this fast-flowering cultivar maintains a short stature and delivers impressive yields indoors (450–500 g/m²) and out (450–500 g/plant).
While potency tops out at 20% THC, that's more than enough to please regular tokers with its uplifting, euphoric high. For growers looking to maximise potency, stick to what you know during germination and the vegetative phase. However, in the final week of flowering, consider flushing alongside 48 hours of total darkness to really push cannabinoid and terpene development.

10. Purple Lemonade Auto
If you like to sit back and relax as seeds calmly progress into flower-bearing plants, then Purple Lemonade Auto—the offspring of Purple Haze, Lemon Skunk, and Sweet Skunk Auto—is the perfect choice.
Being an auto, it's highly recommended to germinate in the plant's final pot, as you'll want to minimise stress during the strain's 10–12-week life cycle. Your patience will pay off, though, as indoor examples promise up to 475 g/m² and citrusy buds, while outdoor plants can produce up to 180 g/plant (as long as you add a touch of natural fertiliser to the soil during the veg phase).

11. Tropicana Cookies Purple Auto
Remember when we said Tropicana Cookies Purple had legendary parents? Well, we've taken the genetic mix one step further with a touch of ruderalis. And the result? A relaxed growing experience that boasts citrus and pineapple flavors, a harvest time of 12 weeks from germination, and up to 20% THC.
Another attractive characteristic is that despite being an auto, plants love to stretch almost as soon as they enter the veg phase. Come flowering, many examples reach 100 cm indoors and 150 cm outside. That growth is easily managed with some LST, though, and even if you're a beginner, gently tying down the branches early will make harvesting much easier later on.

12. Pink Mist Auto
What Pink Mist Auto sacrifices in potency (up to 17% THC), it makes up for with its straightforward growth cycle and euphoric, uplifting high. There's also an abundance of blueberry and lavender flavors to enjoy. We weren't joking when we said cultivation was simple.
Provided you germinate plants in their final pots, seedlings will quickly thicken their main stem, progressing through the veg and early flowering stages with little fuss. Although this auto will flower automatically, you can still add the Easy Combo Booster to ensure all your plant's nutritional needs are covered. Simply dissolve the tablets as instructed and water as normal.

13. Special Queen 1 Auto
If you need up to 450 g/m² of skunky, earthy buds in as little as six weeks of flowering, then you've come to the right place. Special Queen 1 Auto isn't just one of our fastest-flowering autoflowers; it's one of our fastest-growing strains, full stop. Thanks to the influence of Power Bud and Big Skunk Auto Genetics, growers can expect plants to reach fruition 10–12 weeks after germination.
The usual cultivation rules apply, but given how quickly this strain moves from the veg stage to flowering, you'll definitely want to germinate seeds in their final pots. You can further simplify the cultivation experience by opting for Easy Boost Organic Nutrition, a complete feeding solution that conveniently lasts 10–12 weeks.
